Around the World with the Big Green Archive This fall, the women's lacrosse junior class will be spending the term away from Hanover in places from South Africa to Colorado. In the coming weeks the student-athletes will provide updates from their adventures. Kelly Hopley (Denver, Colo.), JR, Defense This fall, I am at home coaching eighth grade field hockey at Kent Denver (my old school) in Colorado. I am really enjoying the opportunity to coach and I finally understand, obviously at a different level, the preparation and focus it takes to be a coach! While at home, I spent every weekend in Wyoming with my dad and the fishing was great! I left for Barcelona, Spain on November 5 for a five-week cultural immersion program. Greta Meyer (Denver, Colo.), JR, Midfield I am spending the fall term at home in Denver working as an intern at the Colorado Historical Society. They are in the process of building a new, state of the art museum and it is my job to outline and archive the plans until they make a decision and choose one. I do a lot of research and photo copies, but it's interesting and I am learning a lot (so its worth it)! Also, while I've been home, I climbed the highest mountain in Colorado. It was absolutely freezing and I thought I was going to get blown off the mountain the whole time but I eventually made it which was fun and was completely worth it because of the view.
