HANOVER, N.H. - The Snowflake Squash Tournament held
annually now for more than 15 years on the first weekend of January at
Dartmouth attracted a wide range of players from all over the
east coast including men's and women's players from six colleges – Bowdoin,
Dartmouth, Hamilton, Middlebury, Smith and Williams. The influx of
college players drove the participation numbers to more than 120.
This
year’s principal sponsors were the Power Squash Academy, Dunlop Sports
and the former No. 1 player in North America, Jonathon Power. Their support
enabled the tournament to provide specially designed t-shirts, a pasta
and salad buffet and great prizes. When it was all said and done it
was the college players who took home the gold in the 8 different
levels of play.
