Pagliarulo, Onstott Nab Ivy League Weekly Awards

HANOVER, N.H. - Junior Michael Pagliarulo (Winchester, Mass.) and freshman Jeff Onstott (Houston, Texas) were both honored by the Ivy League as Pagliarulo was named Co-Player of the Week, while Onstott garnered Rookie of the Week accolades.

In a 5-0 week for the Big Green, Pagliarulo has been a main contributor to the recent success for Dartmouth. He posted at least two hits in all five games started this week, including a 4-for-5 with a homer, three runs batted in and two runs scored in the 18-11 win over Cornell on Sunday. Pagliarulo finished the doubleheader sweep of Cornell with six hits, six RBI, two homers and four runs scored. He is currently on a six game hitting streak and is hitting .500 during the streak with 13 hits and seven RBI.

This season he is currently second on the team with a .451 batting average with 23 hits, including a team-high four round trippers. Pagliarulo leads the Big Green with 17 runs scored and a .533 on-base percentage, while adding 14 runs batted in for second on the team.

Onstott has been a real bright spot for the Big Green during its seven-game win streak. This past week he tied for the team lead with 12 hits, including a two-run blast for his first collegiate homerun in the 7-5 win over Quinnipiac. The homerun gave Dartmouth the 4-3 advantage after being down 3-0 early in the game. Against Cornell in the Sunday sweep, Onstott went 4-for-9 with four runs batted in and two runs scored. In game two, he collected two hits and three RBI, including a two-run double in the fifth inning.

He is third on the team with a .400 batting average in 16 starts at second base for the Big Green. Onstott is second on the team in hits with 26 and tied for fourth with 10 runs batted in. His five doubles is tops, while his nine walks and 34 total bases are second and fourth, respectively.

Dartmouth is back in action tomorrow afternoon as the Big Green heads to Siena for a non-conference game with the Saints, with first pitch at 3 p.m.
