Gove returns to Dartmouth for her second season following a four-year goalkeeping career at Lehigh University where she was a Patriot League Second Team selection, the team’s Most Valuable Player and tri-captain in 2005. In her senior season, she played in 17 games and was second in the Patriot League with 174 total saves and 10.24 saves per game. She was also tied for the league lead with two shutouts in her final season. Gove finished her collegiate career with 48 games played with 232 stops in net and three shutouts.
   
She graduated from Lehigh in 2006 with a degree psychology with a minor in sociology and anthropology. Prior to traveling north to Hanover, Gove spent two years at Lehigh as the merchandising and concessions manager.
   
Gove has a wealth of experience as a goalkeeper instructor at area field hockey camps. She was the head counselor for the goalkeeping section of the Lehigh Field Hockey Camp in 2006 and was a four-year goalkeeping counselor at the Skowhegan (Maine) Area High School.
   
In addition to her coaching experience, she has also been a part of an adventure bound program in Caratunk, Maine. Gove served as a guide for youth in many outdoor activities including, whitewater rafting, climbing walls and overnight camping trips.
