Dara Ely is in her third year as an assistant director in the Varsity Athletics Communications office. Her responsiblities include serving as the primary contact for women's basketball, soccer and women's lacrosse.

Ely graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in English. While at Holy Cross, she assisted the media relations office and served as sports editor of the student newspaper, "The Crusader." Ely was a four-year member of the women's rugby team and two-year captain.

Prior to her arrival at Dartmouth, Ely spent two years as the assistant sports information director at Marist College, from 2004-06.

She is currently pursuing her master's degree in sports leadership through Duquesne University.
