| Dartmouth Equestrian Has Strong Showing at Two Weekend Shows | ||||||||||

HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth Equestrian team finished second and third at two different shows over the weekend. Sophomore Faye Keegan was the High Point Rider after accumulating the most amount of points out of 70 rides competing at the Colby Sawyer Show on Sunday. The Big Green began the weekend hosting its own Dartmouth Show on Saturday where the riders finished second of seven teams. Dartmouth had four first place finishes and three second place. Cristina Herren was tops in Intermediate Fences while both Elizabeth Wilkerson and Katherine Lindzey won in Novice Fences. First-year Helena Witte continued to do well in her first season, winning Advanced Walk/Tro/Canter. Placing second was Linda Cummins in Novice Fences and Lindzey in Novice Flat. Rochele Brown was second in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter. At Colby Sawyer on Sunday the Big Green was third out of nine teams with two first place finishes and two in second place. Senior Sam Parsons was tops in Open Flat while Keegan won Open Fences. Cummins was second in Novice Flat as Keegan was also second in Open Flat. Dartmouth has just three shows left for the fall season as the Big Green will compete next at Mt. Ida on Sunday, Oct. 25.
