The Big Green is 7-1-1 in the last nine meetings including a 5-2 win last season. Dartmouth enjoyed a stretch of three shutouts before Cornell broke through with a 1-0 double-overtime win in 2006. The series has gone to OT seven times since 1994, including five out of six meetings from 1994-99. The first contest between the programs came back in 1930, a 3-1 Cornell win in Ithaca. Dartmouth hosted a year later and avenged that loss with a 4-0 victory. The series has been played annually, uninterrupted, since 1949.

This Time Out: Dartmouth hosts Cornell on Senior Day for its final home regular season game. The Big Green has gone 5-1-1 at Burnham this fall and is 20-3-3 all-time. This weekend will prove pivotal to the Ivy standings, as Dartmouth and Brown are currently tied for second place (3-2 Ivy) with nine points. Harvard is precariously atop the league with 10 points at 3-1-1. On Saturday, the Crimson travels to Columbia while Brown heads to Yale.

Last Time Out: After dropping a 2-1 decision at #16 Harvard last weekend, Dartmouth found itself in the midst of a three-game skid. A victory came at just the right time this Tuesday at New Hampshire, who recently clinched the America East regular season title. The Big Green benefited from a UNH own goal in the seventh minute and rode that to an eventual 1-0 win in a battle.

Senior Day: Prior to the game on Saturday, Dartmouth will honor the six members of the senior class - Craig Henderson, Pumi Maqubela, Ben Salmon, Derek Stenquist and Donnie Surdoval. This class has been one of the most successful in Dartmouth soccer history, making two NCAA Tournament appearances including a Sweet 16 run in 2008. As a group, they have won 37 games, 16 Ivy games and an Ivy League Championship in 2008.

The Classroom And The Field: Dartmouth's Bryan Giudicelli (Emerald Hills, Calif.) and Craig Henderson (Wellington, New Zealand) have been named to CoSIDA's Academic All-District first team. By virtue of their selection to the District I first team, Giudicelli and Henderson will both be on the ballot for national Academic All-America honors.
Henderson, a senior midfielder and anthropology major, has improved upon his status as an Academic All-District second team selection last season. The reigning Ivy League Player of the Year, last season was named to the NSCAA All-America third team and the NSCAA Scholar All-America first team. A junior defender, Giudicelli is making his debut as an Academic All-District honoree. He is a double major in sociology and economics. A starter in the backline since his freshman year, Giudicelli has missed just two games in three seasons with 49 appearances and 44 starts.

In the Record Books: Dartmouth's top scorers this season are also making their way into the program records. Craig Henderson (Wellington, New Zealand), who has 53 career points on 20 goals and 13 assists, ranks on three lists. His point total is tied for fifth all-time and he is one point out of fourth place. His 20 goals are tied for eighth all-time with seventh place at 21 and his 13 assists rank eighth. With 19 points, Daniel Keat (Wellington, New Zealand) is just one point away from ranking eighth (three players tied) on the single-season list. With 40 career points and 18 goals as just a sophomore, Lucky Mkosana is well on pace to own the Dartmouth record books. He is halfway to first place on the career goals and points lists and is currently tied for 10th on the career goals scored list.

Next Time Out: Dartmouth closes out the regular season with a big contest at Ivy rival Brown on Sunday, Nov. 15. The teams kick off at 1 p.m. in Providence.
