HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's soccer team closed out the season with a 2-0 victory over Cornell on senior day at Burnham Field.

Seniors Kelsey Quick (Bernardsville, N.J.) and Becky Poskin (Leawood, Kan.) connected one last time as Poskin scored her third goal of the season in the win. Quick also scored the game-winning goal earlier in the first half, ending her career with a three-point game.

Dartmouth improved to 10-7 overall, 4-3 Ivy with the win while Cornell dropped to 1-13-1, 0-7 Ivy. The Big Green outshot the Big Red, 15-4 for the game.

Dartmouth jumped all over Cornell from the opening whistle, as Aly O'Dea (Irvine, Calif.) sent two into the box in just the first three minutes. Quick had the first dangerous look of the day when her shot was blocked after a Melisa Krnjaic (Washington, D.C.) corner kick in the 20th minute and senior Jenny Stone (Wilmette, Ill.) sent the rebound wide. Quick got one more in just 30 seconds later but Cornell keeper Megan Bartlett was there for the save.

The Big Green kept the ball in Cornell's end with a flurry of action in the 22nd minute. Poskin fired off a Quick corner and the shot was saved. Ally Dutton (Granite Bay, Calif.) came up with a rebound rocket that was saved on the line by the defense. Senior Myra Sack (Wynnewood, Pa.) found herself with the ball further out in the box and sent it across to Quick who was practically in the goal with a shot that somehow Bartlett managed to save.

Dartmouth continued to pressure Cornell and it finally led to a goal in the 24th minute. Quick sent a ball in from the right side to beat Bartlett and a frazzled Big Red defense, giving her team a 1-0 lead. Cornell had its first real threat of the game in the 29th minute when Brook Chang made a run into the box but sophomore keeper Colleen Hogan (Houston, Texas) came out and beat her to the ball.

The Big Green got a second goal in the 33rd minute. Quick made a run down the right side and played a great ball in to Poskin who beat Bartlett to the left side for a 2-0 Dartmouth lead. Quick ends her career tied for seventh on the all-time assists list with 14 helpers overall and has 28 career points total

Dartmouth shut out Cornell in the first with an 11-0 shot advantage.

The Big Green kept it up in the second half and nearly had a third when Quick sent one in from the right side to O'Dea who just mistimed her header in the 51st. Cornell tested Hogan a bit in the second half including a hard shot by Chang in the 75th minute that she saved point blank.

Meagan Tibbo (Ottowa, Ont.) nearly had her first goal of the season in the 80th minute but was called offsides. Sack had a good look just three minutes later but it was just a bit too strong and went high.

Hogan preserved the shutout in the 86th minute with two good plays including snagging the ball after her last defender missed it and Cornell had a dangerous chance in the box. She then made another save against Chang to seal the 2-0 shutout win.

While most were given a respite at some point during the game, head coach Angie Hind ensured that all six members of her senior class were on the field together at the final whistle. Always together off the field, Ali Hubbard, Becky Poskin, Kelsey Quick, Myra Sack, Jenny Stone and Thea Sutton left Burnham one last time collectively. As a group they have tallied 35 wins including 15 Ivy wins and have been a tremendous core for the team, exemplifying hard work, perseverance, commitment and selflessness.

A defender from Wilmette, Illinois, #16 JENNY STONE
With 29 career appearances and 17 starts, Jenny has brought a great deal to the program in the last four years. As a defender she is aggressive, composed and has great presence on the field. Her commitment, hard work and the example she sets have earned the great respect of those around her. Without a doubt Dartmouth soccer has benefited greatly from her drive, dedication and personality.

A midfielder from Marshfield, Massachusetts, #6 ALI HUBBARD
A starter since her freshman year, Ali is an unbelievable athlete who has made the Dartmouth midfield her home. She has played in all but three games in four years with 58 starts in 62 appearances. Ali has 16 career points including six goals and has twice been named All-Ivy. Her work rate, tenacity and heart have been the building blocks for this team. In a role that often goes unnoticed, Ali has shined and this program is the better for her on-field performance, character and example for others.

A back from San Rafel, California, #21 THEA SUTTON
Be it practices or games, Thea always gives her all. She is a physical, aggressive defender with a real presence in the back line. With 37 career appearances, Sutton is having her best season yet, starting all 14 of her games played and recently her first career goal with the game-winner against Columbia. Thea is a positive and dynamic part of the team. In four years she has shown unbelievable character and the importance of enjoying what you do.

A midfielder from Bernardsville, New Jersey, co-captain #17 KELSEY QUICK
A thrill to watch for four years, Kelsey is a dynamic player with great technical ability and unparalleled enthusiasm for the game. With 40 starts in 62 career games, Quick has tallied 25 points including 13 assists, which ranks 10th all-time. An All-Ivy selection in 2008, Kelsey has brought passion and infectious energy to her team. As a captain this fall, she has shown great spirit and proved instrumental in many of the team's successes.

A midfielder from Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, co-captain #27 MYRA SACK
Simply put, Myra is one of the most naturally talented athletes to play for this program. Missing only two games in four years with 59 starts in 63 appearances, her consistency of performance has been impressive. A first team All-Ivy and All-Northeast honoree, Sack has 25 career points including 13 assists, ranking 10th all-time. Myra is a tremendous leader who sets an example of work ethic, commitment and dedication to her team. During her four years she has been an inspiration us all.

A forward from Leawood, Kansas, co-captain #7 BECKY POSKIN
A fifth-year senior and second year captain, Becky has an unbelievable work rate, inspiring those around her with selflessness and a mentality to never quit. Having missed her junior year with a knee injury, Poskin returned this fall and has made 49 starts in 65 career games. A talented forward, she has 20 career points with eight goals, including five game-winners. As a leader, athlete and person, Becky has simply been first class.
