Brian Conley is entering his fourth season as the assistant coach with the Dartmouth lightweight rowing team where he serves as head
In 2009, Dartmouth's top freshmen boat placed sixth at the season-culminating Eastern Sprints and in 2008 he mentored the varsity pair that took fifth at IRA National Championships. In 2007, Conley's crews saw success starting in the fall and carried through to the spring claiming victories over several league crews and posting a regular season record of 6-1 and a sixth place finish at Eastern Sprints. Dartmouth's varsity eight also won the Eastern Sprints and Ivy titles that season In the summer of 2008, Conley was an assistant coach for the US Junior National Development Team that took home two golds and a silver at the US National Championships. His crew also raced in the Can Am Mex Regatta (Oklahoma City), taking home gold in all the sweep rowing events including the eight+, four+ and pair against Canada and Mexico. Prior to arriving at Dartmouth, Conley was the head coach at Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pa., where his crews won the 2006 Scholastic National Championship. |
