Having joined the Big Green in 2006, Jesup Szatkowski is in his fourth season as a member of the Dartmouth coaching staff.
Since his arrival at Dartmouth, the Big Green’s young talent has shown a bright future is on the horizon. This past season, 2008-09, he helped the women to a sixth place finish at the Ivy League Championship.
Szatkowski came to Dartmouth from Vassar College where he filled a variety of roles including assistant coach of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, head coach/founder of the men’s and women’s club water polo teams, and aquatics director.
A 2000 graduate of Washington & Lee where he was an all-conference swimmer, Szatkowski earned a master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2003. He was an assistant coach for the Wildcats from 2002-03.
Szatkowski has worked numerous swim camps, including those at the University of Georgia and Dartmouth, and has also coached at Rye Beach (N.H.) Club, Rockbridge County (Lexington, Va.) High School and Rockbridge (Lexington, Va.) Area Team Swimming.
