Cami was a multi-sport athlete who excelled in three event skiing in Stowe, Vermont, where she was raised. Later she went on to become an All-American skier for St. Lawrence University, graduating in 1984. Cami had several breakthrough seasons in the mid-1980s and was named to the U.S. Ski Team. She highlighted that by skiing on the USA's 1985 FIS World Championship Team in Seefeld, Austria. In addition, Cami skied in many World Cup events while on the U.S. Ski Team. Following her own competitive career, Cami went on to coach with numerous teams ranging from Eastern Junior Olympic squads to International U.S. Ski Team Trips. She is also a FIS Technical Delegate and a member of the NENSA Board of Directors. She has been recognized by St. Lawrence University as a member of their Athletic Hall of Fame. She has also received the Ski NH Al Merrill Award and has been honored as EISA Coach of the Year three times. Cami lives in Hanover with her daughter Sophie.
