Summer Memberships:  Summer memberships went on sale June 15, and will expire September 20, 2009.  Please note that we do not delete the cost of a Summer Membership from the cost of a full-year membership.

Age Requirements:    You must be 65 or over to receive the senior rate; you must be 18 or older to get a PLUS membership and have access to the Fitness Center.  Children under 18 may not purchase a membership for themselves but must have a parent do so.

Lockers:  Available to any gym member, while supplies last.

Gym Schedule:  We have made some adjustments in the gym schedule for the entire year.   Please see the attached Alumni Gym/Berry Center building schedule for 2009-2010.

Gym Policies:  We expect all gym members will be aware of and follow our policies, especially the requirement that you bring your ID with you on every visit and present it to the front desk monitor.  Please see our policies sheet.

If you have any questions, please call Meg Colton at 646-8106 or Kathy Tefft at 646-0246.

To receive the Employee rate, you must have “Employee” status in the Human Resources Payroll database, and must present a valid Dartmouth College ID at the time of purchase.  Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while purchasing a membership or a day pass, and proof of age is required for a child to receive a PLUS membership.   No one under 18 is allowed to use the Fitness Center.  You must be over 65 to receive the Senior Citizen rate.

Fitness Reimbursement

All benefits eligible Dartmouth College employees enrolled in any of the three employee Anthem health insurance programs or in the retiree insurance plan are eligible to receive up to $200 reimbursement from Anthem toward the expense of purchasing a fitness membership.  This $200 benefit is per family or per subscriber, not for each member of a family.  For more information about the reimbursement, please visit the Dartmouth College Human Resources website at http://www.dartmouth.edu/~hrs/news/fitness reimbursement.html.  Other gym members should check with their insurance plans to see if they are eligible for a fitness reimbursement program.

Refunds

Refunds will be given up to 30 days from date of purchase but not thereafter. There will be no refunds based on changes in membership category.  Employees who leave the College during the membership year may continue to use their memberships until the expiration date, but will need to get a new community athletic ID from the Athletic Facilities & Operations Office, as their College ID will be deactivated.
