HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth men’s soccer head coach Jeff Cook announced the five members of the Class of 2013 who will join the defending Ivy League Champions next fall.

The group of student-athletes, accepted early decision, features two midfielders, a forward, a back and a goalkeeper. The class should bolster a veteran Dartmouth squad that returns 10 starters and 19 letterwinners from this year’s championship team.

Justin Ciambella
Back / Ocala, Fla.
Vanguard HS / Florida Rush

Ciambella was a standout defender for Vanguard High School, earning first team All-County honors as a senior after leading the county in scoring with 21 goals and 13 assists ... Named captain of the Florida ODP state team ... Played for the Florida Rush Nike club program

Sean Donovan
Goalkeeper / Burr Ridge, Ill.
Hinsdale Central HS / Eclipse Select

Donovan had his finest season as a senior for Hinsdale Central, backstopping and captaining his team to a state quarterfinals appearance ... Broke the school’s single-season shutout record with 15 en route to all-state and all-conference accolades ... 2008 NSCAA Scholar All-America honoree ... Three-year member of Illinois ODP ... Twice won the US Youth Soccer Region II Championship

Kevin Dzierzawski
Midfield / Oakland Twp, Mich.
Brother Rice HS / Vardar Soccer

Dzierzawski was a four-year letterwinner and two-time team captain for Brother Rice ... He earned all-state and team MVP accolades twice during his career ... Played for the Michigan ODP team and was part of the Region II ODP player pool ... Member of the US U-14 National Team Pool and three-year part of the Super Y National Pool ... Served as senior class and student senate president.

Brad Jacobson
Midfield / Larchmont, N.Y.
Mamaroneck HS/FC Westchester Academy

Jacobson played three years of varsity soccer for Mamaroneck, serving as team captain his junior and senior years ... Twice named all-league and all-section for Mamaroneck ... Plays for FC Westchester club ... Individually, he placed first nationally in Nike SPARQ testing at the development academy

Keith Moffat
Forward / Berkeley, Calif.
Berkeley HS/ACCYSL Mavericks United

Moffat is a versatile athlete who will also take to the slopes as a skier for the Big Green ... Was his team’s leading scorer for the past three seasons ... Led Mavericks United to the Golden State Soccer League championship in 2007 and a second-place finish in 2008 ... Is also a nationally ranked downhill skier.

Cook is entering his ninth season with Dartmouth and has led the Big Green to four Ivy Championships and four NCAA Tournaments since 2004. His 2008 squad earned the #16 national seed and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.
