Dartmouth women's basketball head coach Chris Wielgus and the Big Green have launched a blog to provide an inside look at the program throughout the 2009-10 academic year and season. The blog, "Going Green: Dartmouth Women's Hoops Blog," will feature posts from Wielgus, student-athletes and athletic communications director Dara Ely. The aim is to provide readers with an in-depth look at the Dartmouth women's basketball experience and the day-to-day adventures that accompany a Division I basketball program. Reader questions, requests and comments are welcome and can be posted as comments on the blog or e-mailed to dartmouthwhoops@dartmouth.edu Follow the Dartmouth women at www.dartmouthwomenshoops.blogspot.com The Dartmouth women's basketball team has won 17 Ivy League Championships, winning four of the last five titles including 2007-08 and 2008-09. The Big Green has advanced to five-straight postseason appearances including an NCAA Tournament bid in 2008-09. Coach Wielgus enters her 25th season at Dartmouth, having guided the Big Green to 12 of its Ivy Championships and all seven NCAA Tournament appearances. |
