Alex was a varsity cross country runner and swimmer all four years at Redwood High School in California. He was the winner of the Coaches Award junior year and the Captain's Award senior year. While at Dartmouth he plans on studying Economics and Engineering.

Alex is the son of Rob Kamai and Gwen Graham and he has two sisters, one of which is his twin and also swims for Dartmouth.
