2006-07: a member of Dartmouth's ESIL Championship team ... earned best times in all three of his events, the 1000 and 1650 Freestyle and the 400IM, missing the Dartmouth Top Ten All Time list by .02 seconds in the 400 IM ... during the dual meet season Cary was an event winner at Colgate (500, 1000 Free), Boston University (500 Free) and Princeton (800 Freestyle Relay) He is an Economics Major and Religion Minor, as well as a member of the Psi Upsilon Fraternity.

Before Dartmouth: Swam for Badger Swim Club under head coach John Collins ... led the Senior National Qualifying 800 Freestyle Relay and was a three-time Academic All-American (2004, 2005 and 2006) finishing with a 4.0 cumulative GPA ... attended Hunter College High School in Manhattan, where he was co-captain of the Hunter Hawks swim team ... holds the school record in the 200, 500 Free, 200 Individual Medley ... four-time New York City Public High School Champion in both the 200 and 500 freestyle ... four-time New York state qualifier.
