Heather Roland earned a total of eleven varsity letters at The Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, PA.  She earned four in both swimming and golf and three in field hockey.  She was a captain on the golf team as a junior and both the golf and swim team as a senior.  She won the All Inter-Academic League Championship as both a junior and senior.  Heather earned several awards in her high school golf career including:  All Main Line Golf Team Honorable mention as a sophomore, All Main Line Golf Team 1st Team her junior and senior year, All Inter-Ac. League 1st Team as a junior and senior, and Women's Golf Assoc. of Philadelphia Junior Inter-city Team Captain.  Heather is interested in majoring in Psychology here at Dartmouth.

 Heather has one brother and two sisters.  Both her sister, Alyssa, and her cousin, James Kania, Jr., play golf currently.  Alyssa plays for Yale and James Kania, Jr. plays for University of Kentucky.  Heather's uncle, James Kania, played golf at University of Delaware and her mother, Karen Kania Roland, played field hockey and lacrosse for Boston College.
