Canuck grinders show their scoring touch VANCOUVER — When the Vancouver Canucks' grinder line of Ryan Johnson, Jannik Hansen and Tanner Glass collected seven points in Denver last Saturday, it was truly a case of the glass being more than half full. The trio had accounted for a meagre two points in 33-man games prior to the resounding 8-2 victory over the Avalanche. Then this. Johnson posted his first career three-assist night. Glass, with a goal and an assist, equalled his entire career output prior to this season. Hansen, in only his second game back due to injury, also had a goal and an assist and is on an 82-point pace. "It's not something we do often," noted Glass, now up to five NHL points lifetime. "It's always fun, for sure. Maybe the fans should expect a little more from us guys."
