Football Wraps Up Week Two of Preseason Camp
9/7/2026
Sunday, Sept. 6, marked the end of the second week of preseason camp for the Dartmouth football team.
Week two of camp was highlighted by the Big Green’s first scrimmage of the preseason, which took place on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
“A lot of our players stepped up this week and made plays this week,” said Sammy McCorkle, the Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach. “We didn't have our young guys for a couple days because of orientation, but the returners did a really good job about taking advantage of the extra snaps and performing well. Our sense of urgency and max effort were evident throughout the week. With our first scrimmage in the books, players put a lot of good things on film and while we still need to improve in areas, I've been happy with their focus on installs and game situations during practice.”

Dartmouth is less than two weeks away from its first game of the 2026 season, which takes place at noon on Saturday, Sept. 19, against No. 10 Lehigh at Goodman Stadium in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Dartmouth’s first home game takes place on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 1 p.m. against Monmouth (RV).
