Tickets for Yankee Stadium Game On Sale Now

HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth College has announced that tickets for the Big Green football game against Princeton at historic Yankee Stadium on Nov. 9 are now on sale. Tickets are available online or by calling the Dartmouth Athletics Ticket Office at 603-646-2466.

Dartmouth will be selling tickets on the Yankee dugout side of the field and Princeton will be selling seats on the visiting dugout side. Please visit our FAQ page for more information about the event.

The game will not only be a part of the 150th anniversary celebration of college football, but also one of the events designed to capture the unique character, indelible spirit and rich history of Dartmouth College, which is celebrating its 250th anniversary.

The Big Green and the Tigers had an historical showdown last fall with both teams nationally ranked and sporting unblemished 7-0 records when they met at Princeton Stadium on Nov. 3. Princeton managed to avenge its last-second, 54-44 loss from the previous season in an epic defensive battle that ended with Dartmouth falling on the wrong side of a 14-9 score. The Tigers went on to finish the year undefeated with a 10-0 record to claim the Ivy League title, while the Big Green placed second with a 6-1 mark in conference play and a 9-1 record overall.

While this is the first game for Dartmouth at Yankee Stadium, the football program is no stranger to playing in a Major League Baseball venue. It was just two years ago that the Big Green defeated Brown, 33-10, at Fenway Park, which was their 24th game inside an MLB stadium, improving their record to 14-9-1. Of those 24 contests, half have been played in New York City at two iterations of the old Polo Grounds where Dartmouth had a record of 6-5-1.
