Brophy Field

Located less than a mile north of the Dartmouth College campus on what was the former Garipay Farm, Brophy Field serves as the home of the varsity women’s rugby team and the club men’s rugby squad. The Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse, covering 6,000-square feet in the side of a hill adjacent to the field, may be the only rugby clubhouse in the world designed to provide symmetrical, unified facilities that serve both men and women.

The clubhouse was built in 2005 solely with funds generated within the Dartmouth rugby alumni and friends community, in the midst of three fields dedicated to rugby. With its classic, distinctive architecture and expansive deck for fans to watch the Big Green compete, the Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse is one of the crown jewels of Dartmouth’s athletics facilities.
