Men's Golf
vs Temple Invitational
Opened in 2012, the Dartmouth Softball Park was built with $3.1 million and included wrap-around seating for 400 fans, sunken dugouts, bullpens, batting cages, a press box, scoreboard and an artificial FieldTurf playing surface with superior drainage capacity. The team uses a locker room, training room and public restrooms that are already located at the Chase Field Complex within the Reilly Pavilion. The facility has a symmetrical outfield with the fencing 200 feet from home plate, as well as the capability to live stream all home softball games.
Dartmouth Softball Park is very similar to the home of Dartmouth baseball, Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park, but is on a smaller scale in accordance with NCAA softball dimensions.
Prior to the 2012 season the Dartmouth softball team utilized Sachem Softball field as its home field. The field was constructed in 1995, which was the inaugural year for softball at Dartmouth. The field was a natural playing surface and a symmetrical outfield with fencing that was also 200 feet from home plate.
