HANOVER, N.H. — The baseball and softball teams got off to strong starts in Ivy League play this weekend, thanks to the performances of Nathan Cmeyla and Justice Malone. Cmeyla was in instrumental in the Big Green claiming two wins over Yale while Malone played a key role in Dartmouth’s doubleheader split with defending Ivy League tournament champion Harvard.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

Nathan Cmeyla, Sr., Ashburn, Va., Baseball
Catcher Nathan Cmeyla has been a staple behind the plate for the Big Green this season, playing in all 15 games for the Big Green and starting 14 games behind the plate. In his past five games, Cmeyla has batted .476 and driven in four runs. In the Ivy League opening series at Yale, Cmeyla went 4-for-12, batting .333 and driving in one run.
