Di Giacinto comes to the Big Green from Lehigh University where the Engineers were nationally ranked last season. Di Giacinto worked at Lehigh during 2003 when he was the assistant offensive line coach. His other duties included assisting with video and strength and conditioning.
A four-year letterwinner at Albion, he was a first team All-Conference tight end, helping the Britons to conference championships in 1998, 1999 and 2001. Di Giacinto earned the team's Iron Man award. He graduated in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in interpersonal communications.
He also has coaching experience at Concord (Mich.) High School and at numerous camps, including one at Central Michigan. At Dartmouth, Di Giacinto will coach the tight ends.
Ware earned his bachelor's degree from Springfield College in 1997, and is expected to complete his master's degree, also from Springfield, in May.
For the past two years, he's served as an assistant coach for the Pride, helping the team to back-to-back Freedom Conference championships and NCAA Division III rushing titles.
Ware was responsible for recruiting in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and served as the head coach of the junior varsity program.
A two-sport athlete at Springfield where he was a quarterback, Ware earned two letters each in football and baseball.
After graduation, Ware was the offensive coordinator at Thomas S. Weaver High in his hometown of Hartford, Conn. Weaver won the Connecticut Class L state championship in 1997 and 1999. A 2000 Fulbright Scholarship winner, Ware taught mathematics at Weaver.
At Dartmouth, Ware will serve as assistant defensive backs coach.
