Jayvee Football Falls to Middlebury

HANOVER, N.H. -- The Dartmouth jayvee football team rallied in the second half, but it wasn't enough to catch Middlebury as the Panthers took a 30-20 decision Sunday on Memorial Field.
After Middlebury raced to a 22-0 lead, Dartmouth answered late in the second quarter. Freshman quarterback Josh Cohen (Berwyn, Pa.) completed a four-yard TD pass to freshman wide receiver Eric Paul (The Woodlands, Texas) to make it 22-6.
The Pea Green added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter. With 9:30 on the clock, freshman quarterback Casey Frost (Lawndale, Calif.) threw a seven-yard scoring strike to sophomore wide receiver Calvin Taylor (Granada Hills, Calif.). Eight minutes later, Frost found the endzone with a four-yard scamper around left end.
The Pea Green returns to action on Sunday, October 9, hosting Milford Academy in a 2 p.m. game.
