No. 29 Chris Blanco
Background: A defensive back with sprinter's speed, Blanco saw a great deal of action with the junior varsity team last season and moved into a starting role for 2006. In high school, Blanco earned two varsity letters in football, was twice offensive player of the year and made the All-CIF Scholastic team. He also helped set Servite High School and Serra League records in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Blanco earned first team Serra League and All-Orange County honors in track.

Best football memory: In the fourth grade when I scored my first touchdown on a fumble recovery, but then getting a personal foul for celebrating.
