Dartmouth's Fuselier Named to New England All-Star Team
HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth senior
Ryan Fuselier (Escondido, Calif.) has been named to the All-New England Division 1-AA football team as selected by the New England Football Writers.
Twice named second team All-Ivy, Fuselier was the Big Green's top wide receiver with 57 catches for 711 yards and three touchdowns. During the 2005 season, he also topped Dartmouth with 501 yards on 51 catches.
This fall, Fuselier was first in the Ivy League and 24th nationally, averaging 5.70 receptions per game. With an average of 71.1 yards per game, he was second among Ancient Eight receivers in that category.
Fuselier finished his Big Green career with 131 catches for 1,501 yards, both good for sixth place on Dartmouth's all-time charts.
He will be honored at the annual New England Football Writers Captains and Awards Banquet. The dinner is scheduled Thursday, December 14 at Casa di Fior in Wilmington, Mass.
The team features 21 seniors, six juniors and one sophomore. Four conferences are represented. There are 15 players from the A10, nine from the Ivy League and two each from the Patriot League and Northeast Conference
