Ryan Conger Named to Preseason All-America Team

HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth's
Ryan Conger has been named to The Sports Network's I-AA preseason All-America football team. The senior defensive end earned honorable mention recognition and was one of only five Ivy League players to be named to the squad.
Conger (Randolph, N.J.), one of Dartmouth's four captains, was a first team All-Ivy pick last season and led Dartmouth with eight sacks and 14 tackles for a loss. He forced two fumbles, recovered one and finished with 24 tackles and 11 assists. Conger was also selected to the All-New England Division I-AA All-Star team.
The four other Ivy League players selected were tackle Rory Hennessey and quarterback Alvin Cowan of Yale, cornerback Duvol Thompson of Penn and tight end Wade Fletcher of Columbia.
