Dartmouth Jayvee Football Downs Middlebury, 15-9
HANOVER, N.H. -- Freshman Evan Nogay's (Weirton, W. Va.) fumble recovery in the end zone with five minutes left to play pushed the Dartmouth jayvee football team to a 15-9 victory over Middlebury on Sunday.
The Panthers scored the first points of the game with a safety at 10:11 of the first quarter before sophomore Corey Goff (Pottstown, Pa.) put Dartmouth ahead, 6-2, with a 38-yard interception return seven minutes later.
Middlebury used a three-yard TD run in the second quarter for a 9-6 lead at halftime.
Late in the third quarter, sophomore Erik Estabrook (Syracuse, N.Y.) booted a 22 yard field goal for a 9-9 tie.
For its next game, the Pea Green takes on Milford Academy on Sunday, October 8.
