Dartmouth Women Fall to Crimson in Season Finale

Cambridge, Mass. ? The Dartmouth women's tennis team's season came to a close with a 5-2 loss at Harvard this afternoon.

The Big Green's No. 1 doubles team of Natalie O'Rourke and Megan Zebroski took a solid 8-4 victory over the Crimson, but Harvard won at second and third to snag the doubles point and 1-0 lead.

The Big Green's lone singles wins came as senior Lindsay Winingham won her finale collegiate match at No. 5 over Elizabeth Brook, 6-3, 7-6 (4) and sophomore Jamie Caplan down Vilsa Curto at No. 6.

The Crimson took victories at first through fourth singles, including a tight match-up at No. 4 singles as Harvard senior Julia Forgie topped Big Green rookie Jesse Adler, 7-6(4), 6-3.

The Big Green ends the year at 8-12, 0-7 Ivy while the Crimson improves to 4-16 overall, 2-5 Ivy.
