Dartmouth - Harvard Game Notes
The first 300 students who attend the women's basketball game against Harvard at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday will received a free t-shirt, entitling them to free dinner from Margaritas when worn at the men's hockey game at 7:00 p.m. that night.
THIS TIME OUT... Game Number: 811. Dartmouth turns its full attention to the Ivy slate, kicking off the balance of the season with its second game against Harvard. This marks just the third time in program history that the Ivy rivals have played each other in consecutive conference games. The Big Green is going for the season sweep of the Crimson after taking a 52-47 win on Jan. 5 in Cambridge.
LAST TIME OUT... Once again Dartmouth battled a major conference opponent to the wire but had no luck late as the Big Green lost in overtime at ACC foe Virginia Tech, 80-73. The Hokies forced overtime with a late bucket and went 11-15 from the free-throw line in overtime to ice the win.
NEXT TIME OUT... The Big Green continues a five-game Ivy homestand when it hosts Princeton on Friday, Feb. 1 and Penn on Saturday, Feb. 2 both at 7:00 p.m.
