HANOVER, N.H. ? The Dartmouth College equestrian team continued its string of fall shows by tying for first with host Mt. Ida College and UNH on Saturday. The Big Green had nine riders place either first or second to help Dartmouth beat out seven other teams.
Kelley Crisp (Houston, Texas) was one of the top riders in Open Jumping and Open Flats, winning both while Samantha Parsons (Weston, Conn.) also won in Open Jumping. Cristina Herren (Chicago, Ill.) won in Intermediate Jumping and Erica Anhalt (Guilford, Conn.) placed first in Novice Flats.
Several riders finished first in Walk, Trot, Canter as Susanna Kurnick (Penn Valley, Pa.) won along with Lucretia Witte
(Fairfield, Conn.) in her beginning class as well as Kari Lewis (Newbury Park, Calif.).
Sarah Spangenburg (Atlanta, Ga.) continues to have a terrific sophomore season as she was second in Novice Jumping.
Dartmouth will have its final show of the fall on Saturday, Nov. 2, traveling to UNH.
