Chris Hardy ran seven times for 96 yards and a touchdown while senior
Erik Estabrook caught six passes for 94 yards and a touchdown as the Dartmouth junior varsity dropped a preseason game to the Middlebury varsity Saturday on Memorial Field, 28-15.
With the Big Green trailing, 21-0, after one quarter, sophomore
T.J. Cameron reeled off a 24-yard gain and Hardy followed with a 28-yard gallop to set up his own two-yard run for a touchdown. After the Panthers expanded their lead to 28-7, sophomore
Tyler Green was in the middle of a sack in the end zone that made it 28-9 through three quarters.
Dartmouth freshman
Conner Kempe engineered a 12-play, 88-yard drive late in the fourth quarter for the final score. Kempe completed 7-of-10 passes on the march, the last a nine-yarder to Estabrook at the goal line. Estabrook, a converted placekicker, also had catches of 10, 19 and 22 yards on the drive.
Sharing time at quarterback, Kempe finished 9-for-21 for 115 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Chris Burns led Dartmouth with seven tackles while sophomore linebacker
Spencer Hood had five and freshman defensive tackle
Mark Dwyer four.
Sophomore punter Matt Kelly averaged 43.3 yards per kick on five punts. He also had a touchback on a kickoff.
