Jayvees Come Up Just Short at Harvard, 19-14

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Quarterback Greg Patton hit fellow freshman Corey Vann with for two second-half touchdowns Friday as the Dartmouth junior varsity dropped a 19-14 decision at Harvard.
Vann led Dartmouth with four catches for 57 yards, including the touchdown receptions of 11 and 29 yards. Patton hit five of his six throws for 51 yards and the two touchdowns and ran three times for 32 yards alternating series with senior Max Heiges, who was 5-for-12 for 31 yards.
Freshman Billy Bradshaw led Dartmouth rushers with five carries for 25 yards.
Sophomore linebacker Alex Shulman had 11 tackles for the Big Green while freshman linebacker Tom Patek added nine. Junior corner Kevin de Regt and sophomore linebacker Tyler Melancon had five each.
Dartmouth (2-1) plays its final jayvee game one week from Sunday against Bridgton Academy.
