Men's Track & Field
at Ken O’Brien Pre-Conference Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - Track & field returns to Hanover and Memorial Field this Saturday as the Big Green men's and women's teams host Vermont and Middlebury in the first home meet of 2012.
Dartmouth has been in either the Carolinas or at Princeton for the first three outdoor meets of the year, but a return home to Hanover is what is in store for the teams this weekend.
The annual meet with the Catamounts and Panthers is the lone home event on the Dartmouth schedule in 2012 and is set to get underway at noon.
Last weekend, the Big Green were in Princeton for the Sam Howell Invitational, facing off against nearly 50 other teams, including most of the Ivy League. This weekend will be on a much smaller scale as Saturday will feature just the three programs.
The highlight of the weekend at Princeton for the women was senior Alexi Pappas' (Alameda, Calif.) showing in the steeplechase, breaking her own school record by more than 18 seconds and posting the fastest time in the nation thus far.
On the men's side, junior Connor Reilly (Niskayuna, N.Y) won his heats in both the 100 and 200 meters, while Tyrone DeSpenza (New Orleans, La.) also had strong showings in those events, taking first in each of his heats.
Admission to the meet is FREE. Those who cannot make it to Memorial Field can also follow along with live results HERE.
