Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Northeast Credit Union Athletes of the Week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Northeast Credit Union Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
Lindsey Allen, Jr., Toronto, Ont. F, Ice Hockey
In Dartmouth's 5-1 victory over St. Lawrence on Saturday, Lindsey Allen led the Big Green with a hat trick, scoring the first goal late in the second period and then finding the back of the net twice less than a minute apart in the third. She currently leads the team with her six markers.
Dalyn Williams Jr., Corinth, Texas, QB, Football
The 6-foot, 210-pound junior from Corinth, Texas, broke the Dartmouth record for total yards in a single game with 443 thanks to a whopping 381 yards passing and another 62 rushing in a 42-7 victory at Cornell on Saturday. Williams connected on 24-of-34 throws for a 70.6 completion percentage with a career-high four touchdown tosses of 24, 32, 30 and 60 yards. He needed just six carries to run for his 62 yards, including a nine-yard keeper into the end zone to give the Big Green the lead for good early in the second quarter. The 381 passing yards are the sixth most in a game in program history and seven shy of his personal-best mark set four weeks ago at Yale.
