HANOVER, N.H. — College Sports Madness (CSM) recently announced its
preseason All-Ivy League football teams, and a Dartmouth player was listed at nine positions, including senior
Bo Patterson on the first team at both wide receiver and punt returner.
Patterson was joined on the first team by senior offensive lineman
Scotty Whitmore and senior defensive end
Evan Chrustic. The Big Green senior co-captains this season, offensive lineman
Sean Ronan and safety
Stephen Dazzo, both earned a spot on the second team, as did juniors
Cody Fulleton (DL) and
Vernon Harris (CB) on defense. The lone Dartmouth player on the third team was junior quarterback
Dalyn Williams.
Princeton led the league with 17 selections on the three teams, plus had the CSM Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year in quarterback Quinn Epperly and the Freshman of the Year in defensive lineman Kurt Holuba. Harvard's defensive lineman Zach Hodges was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year.
Dartmouth, which posted a 5-2 record in league play and a 6-4 mark overall, will open the 2014 season at home against Central Connecticut State on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
