THIS WEEKEND
Having gone through each of the seven Ivy League teams once, the Dartmouth volleyball team will begin at the beginning again, hosting a single match against Harvard on Friday.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green increased its winning streak to five straight with a 3-1 win over Cornell (22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-20) on Friday and a 3-2 victory against Columbia (21-25, 25-20, 30-28, 25-27, 20-18) the next day, overcoming first set losses in both matches. Following Harvard's loss to Columbia, Dartmouth is now alone at the top of the standings. For the second time in the last month, Emily Astarita was named the Ivy League Player of the Week for totaling 37 kills, a .321 hitting percentage (including .432 against the Big Red), 14 digs, four block assists and 40 points. Paige Caridi had a strong match against the Lions, ending the night with a season-high 26 kills.
SCOUTING THE CRIMSON
Harvard comes to Hanover just one match behind Dartmouth and looking to even the score. Ever since their loss to the Big Green, the Crimson had turned things around to win four straight before being saddled with a 3-1 loss to the Lions to start the weekend. The next day, Harvard had a 3-2 win over Cornell to make up for the defeat the previous day, but not before slipping to second in the league.
LAST SEASON AGAINST HARVARD
Last season, Dartmouth went 1-1 against the Crimson, winning, 3-1, (27-25, 25-19, 24-26, 25-21) to open Ivy League play at home in September before falling, 3-0, (13-25, 20-25, 18-25) on the road a month later. Harvard holds a 46-21 all-time advantage.
IVY LEAGUE STATISTICS
A handful of Big Green players are currently faring well in the conference in a number of categories: Astarita is first in kills (251) and kills per set (4.05), Zoe Leonard is second in aces (20) and Kaira Lujan is fourth in hitting percentage (.326). Dartmouth also leads all programs in kills (830) and assists (791).

So far this season, five Big Green players have recorded double-doubles, accumulating double digits in two of the five statistical categories.
