Date: Nov. 13, 2015
Location: Philadelphia, Pa. - John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center
FRIDAY'S GAME
The Dartmouth women's basketball team kicks off the 2015-16 season on the road at Drexel in the first round of the preseason WNIT Tournament.
SCOUTING THE DRAGONS
Drexel was picked to finished second in the preseason CAA Coaches Poll. Just ahead of the Dragons sits two-time defending champion James Madison. Drexel returns two key players from last seasons squad, junior forward Sarah Curran and senior guard Rachel Pearson. Curran is a two-time preseason all CAA First Team member, while Pearson has been named to the Second Team twice. Last season, Curran averaged 12.1 points a game and shot .434 from the floor.
LAST TIME AGAINST DREXEL
The Big Green have only met the Dragons once in program history. On Dec. 20, 1987, Dartmouth took down Drexel 55-49 in the championship game of the Dartmouth Tournament.
MIND STILL ON 18
The Big Green continue their quest to bring home their 18th Ivy League title. The last time Dartmouth won a conference title was the 2008-09 season. The Green open up Ancient Eight play on Jan. 9 against Harvard at home.
LEADING SCORERS RETURN
Dartmouth returns two key players on offense including junior Fanni Szabo. As a sophomore, Szabo led the team in scoring with 16.3 points a game. Her teammate Lakin Roland also returns to the court for the Green and White, as she looks to build off last year's 12 points a game and team-best eight rebounds.
FRESH FACES
Four new faces will make their collegiate debut for Dartmouth on Friday. A pair of guards and forwards make up the Class of 2019. Cy Lippold and Kealy Brown will look to make contributions off the bench at guard, while Isalys Quinones and Emily Dryden will play at forward.

LOOKING AHEAD
Should the Big Green win on Friday, they will play the winner of No. 20 South Florida and Jacksonville. Dartmouth returns to Hanover on Monday for its home opener against Granite State rival UNH for a 7 pm tip-off.
