FINAL WEEKEND
Dartmouth volleyball will embark on its final road trip of the 2015 season, heading to Providence on Friday to face Brown at 7 p.m. before making its way to Connecticut to take on Yale at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
HERE'S THE DEAL
Harvard is first in the Ivy League with a record of 9-3, but is being chased closely by Dartmouth and Princeton, who are tied for second with 8-4 marks, and Yale is still alive in the title chase at 7-5. With four teams still mathematically alive in the race, a lot can happen this weekend. Here are 10 possible scenarios:
1. Harvard wins two = Harvard clinches championship.
2. Harvard wins zero matches, Princeton wins two, Dartmouth wins one = Princeton clinches championship.
3. Harvard wins zero matches, Princeton wins one, Dartmouth wins two = Dartmouth clinches championship.
4. Yale wins two, Princeton wins one, Dartmouth wins one, Harvard wins zero matches = four team playoff (seeding not available until matches have concluded).
5. Yale wins two, Princeton or Dartmouth only wins one, Harvard wins zero matches = three team playoff (seeding not available until matches have concluded).
6. Harvard wins one, Princeton wins two, Dartmouth wins two = three team playoff (Harvard top seed due to best overall game record against teams involved).
7. Harvard wins one, only one of Princeton or Dartmouth wins two = two team playoff (Harvard host against either team due to best overall game record against teams involved).
8. Harvard wins zero matches, Princeton wins one, Dartmouth wins one = three team playoff (Harvard top seed due to best overall game record against teams involved).
9. Harvard wins zero matches, only Princeton or Dartmouth wins one = two team playoff (Harvard hosts against either team due to better overall game record against both teams).
10. Harvard wins zero matches, Princeton wins two, Dartmouth wins two = Princeton vs. Dartmouth playoff (Princeton hosts due to second tie breaker which is game record against next team in standings, Harvard).
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green had a 2-0 showing at its last home weekend of the year, defeating Columbia, 3-1, (25-18 18-25. 26-24. 25-21) on Friday and Cornell, 3-0, (25-10, 25-18, 27-25) on Senior Night Saturday. Against the Lions, Paige Caridi earned her 1,000th career dig, becoming just the 10th Dartmouth player in program history to do so. Emily Astarita recorded a double-double with 16 digs and 15 kills, while Stacey Benton had 25 assists and Jordan Cornwell led with 18 digs. In the straight-set victory over the Big Red the next day, Astarita had another double-double, registering 14 kills and 11 digs and leading the team in both categories. Kaira Lujan hit .500, while Kayden Cook had 39 assists, had two of the team's five aces and played a big hand in giving Dartmouth its final few points of the match.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
Since the Green's 3-0 win over Brown on Oct. 10 in Leede Arena, Brown has gone 2-5 against conference opponents, but those two victories were pretty big ones. The Bears had a three-set victory over Penn on Oct. 17 before taking down Yale, 3-1, a few days later. Those wins, however, were Brown's last, as it dropped four straight after that.
LAST TIME AGAINST BROWN
On Oct. 10, the day after handing Yale its first Ivy League loss of the season, the Big Green defeated the Bears in straight sets (30-28. 25-17. 25-18). Caridi led both teams with 16 kills, while Cook had 21 assists and Zoe Leonard recorded 18 digs. Lujan also had a big day, winning the final point for the home team with her kill and ending the match with 10 in all.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
After winning a share of the Ivy title with Harvard in 2014, this season has been a little tougher on Yale. Since falling to the Green in early October, the Bulldogs have gone 4-4 in league matches, falling to Harvard, Brown. Columbia and Princeton, while picking up wins against Penn, Princeton, Cornell and Penn.
LAST TIME AGAINST YALE
Dartmouth defeated Yale, 3-1, (29-27, 25-23, 23-25, 25-15) inside Leede Arena on Homecoming. Both Caridi and Astarita ended the night with double-doubles. Caridi had 16 kills and 14 digs, while Astarita had 20 kills and 13 digs. Leonard led both squads with 20 digs and Cook had 29 assists to lead both the Big Green and the Bulldogs.
SEEING DOUBLE
Five Big Green players have recorded double-doubles, accumulating double digits in two of the five statistical categories.
| Name | Double-Double (Season) | Double-Doubles (Career) |

| #10 Stacey Benton | 3 | 21 |
| #13 Emily Astarita | 4 | 20 |
