
Dartmouth Hosts Women's Sports Weekend Feb. 5-7

HANOVER, N.H. – On Friday, Feb. 5 through Sunday, Feb. 7, Dartmouth will celebrate Women's Sports Weekend with events connecting women to Big Green athletics.
Alumnae will receive free admission to all home contests throughout the weekend. On Friday, women's basketball takes on Princeton while the women's hockey team squares off with Yale with both games starting at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, following a breakfast from 8-10:30 a.m. in 53 Commons, the women's tennis team will compete in the ECAC Championship at the Boss Tennis Center. The women's hockey and women's basketball teams are back in action later that day when Dartmouth hosts Brown at 4 p.m. on the ice in Thompson Arena, followed by a showdown on the hardwood against league-leading Penn at Leede Arena at 6 p.m. A reception will take place after the game in the Basketball Circle Lounge.
The 2016 National Girls and Women in Sports Day Clinic will take place Sunday morning from 9-11 a.m. at which Dartmouth student athletes will lead clinics for grades K-8. Also that morning at 10 a.m. in Floren 105, guest speaker Libby Ludlow '06 will give a presentation on “Fostering Confidence in Young Female Athletes.”
