Their efforts are rewarded by being named the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the Hanover Brick and Brew Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
Duncan Robinson, Sr., Houston, Texas., RHP, Baseball
A 6-6, 220-pound right-hander from Houston, Texas, Robinson dominated the USF lineup in a 1-0 Big Green victory on March 26. He threw 103 pitches to complete the nine-inning shutout, the last 16 of which produced the final nine outs. The Bulls managed just four hits against Robinson as he did not issue a walk while striking out eight. Seven of his eight strikeouts came in the middle three innings, and at no time did USF have more than one runner on base.
Jaclyn Leto, Sr., Chatham, N.J., M, Women's Lacrosse
The senior co-captain of the Dartmouth women's lacrosse team had one of her best all-around games in a 10-9 win Sunday at home against No. 16 Penn. Not only did she score six times — moving over 130 goals and 150 points in her career during the game — but also caused the turnover in the final seconds that preserved Dartmouth's first win over Penn since 2012. For her efforts, Leto became the first player in Ivy League history to be named the conference's Offensive and Defensive Player in the same week and the first to win both honors during the same season since 2009.
