PRINCETON, N.J. — Ten Dartmouth student-athletes were honored with Academic All-Ivy recognition for the 2016-17 winter season, the league office announced Thursday.
To qualify for a spot on the conference's top academic team in the fall, a student-athlete must make a major contribution to their team in addition to maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Seven members of the Class of 2017 were recognized, with two juniors and one sophomore also being tabbed for their work as all-around student-athletes.
The 10 Big Green student-athletes listed in alphabetical order with key information are as follows:
Jacqueline Barnes/ Women's Squash / Senior / Chevy Chase, Md./ Neuroscience
- 3.32 GPA
- Senior captain
-Competed in 14 matches at the No. 1 position with five wins
Joby Bernstein / Swimming & Diving / Senior / Larchmont, N.Y./ Economics
- 3.94 GPA
- Swam the 1650 free, 1000 free and 500 free at the Ivy League Championships
-Named most inspirational and most outstanding swimmer on the team
Evan Boudreaux / Men's Basketball / Sophomore / Lake Forest, Ill. / Undeclared

-USBWA All-District I, NABC All-District Second Team, All-Ivy League Second Team
-Led league in rebounding, second in scoring, averaged double-double in league play
