Ten Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Ten Dartmouth student-athletes were honored by the Ivy League with Academic All-Ivy awards for the 2018 spring season announced by the conference office today.

To qualify for a spot on the league's top academic team, these student-athletes have made major contributions to their teams while maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average. Six members of the class of 2018 were selected alongside two juniors and two sophomores.

The Big Green's 10 honorees are listed below in alphabetical order with key information:

Sabrina Bohrer / Women's Rowing / Senior / Concord, Mass. / Geography - 3.45 GPA
- Stroked with first varsity 8 and helped her crew win second-straight Parents' Cup against Cornell
- Finished sixth in the Grand Final at Ivy Championship.

Ellie Carson / Women's Lacrosse / Sophomore/ Alexandria, Va. / Undeclared
- 3.51 GPA
- Unanimous first-team All-Ivy League, IWLCA First-Team All-Northeast Region
- Led Dartmouth in goals and points.

Austin Heye / Men's Heavyweight Rowing / Senior / Belmont, Mass. / Psychology
- 3.57 GPA
- Rowed with varsity 8, helped Dartmouth to wins over Columbia, MIT, Holy Cross, Georgetown and Boston University
- Helped his boat to sixth in the Grand Final at the Eastern Sprints Regatta

Jessica Kittelberger / Women's Golf / Senior / Raleigh, N.C / Environmental Studies/Anthropology
- 3.86 GPA
- All-Ivy League Second Team by virtue of 10th-place finish at Ivy Championship
- Led Dartmouth with 77.2 stroke average, four top-10 finishes this year

Jack Korzelius / Men's Lacrosse / Senior / Purchase, N.Y. / Engineering Sciences
- 3.42 GPA
- Second-Team All-Ivy League, second on Big Green with 20 goals, third with 23 points
- Selected by Atlanta Blaze with 56th overall pick of MLL Draft

- Second-Team All-American in outdoor decathlon, Google Cloud Academic All-District I First Team

- Ivy League Player of the Year, first-team All-Ivy outfielder, Google Cloud Academic All-District I First Team
- Led league with 14 doubles, third in slugging (.497)

Robert Van Voorhis / Men's Lightweight Rowing / Senior / Oak Brook, Ill. / Economics

- Rowed with varsity 8, helped his boat to victories over MIT, Delaware and Temple as the stroke, also rowed in 4+ at Head of the Charles

- First-Team All-Ivy League outfielder, led team with seven home runs and 20 walks (tied for Ivy lead)
