HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's hockey head coach Laura Schuler has announced the hiring of Krista Patronick as the director of hockey operations. Patronick spent the 2017-18 season working in the same capacity with the Colgate women's hockey team.
"I'm very excited to welcome Krista to Dartmouth. I'm looking forward to her assistance with branding our program, elevating our social media, and managing our video operations," said Schuler. "She played a key role in Colgate's success last season and she will bring a lot of knowledge and experience to our staff."
While in Hamilton, Patronick coordinated all team travel logistics and day to day operations. She was also in charge of the coordination and distribution of all team video, communicating with the players and staff, and developing a social media plan.
Before moving to the collegiate level, Patronick was general manager for the Boston Blades of Canadian Women's Hockey League (May 2015 – August 2017). There, she was responsible for all day-to-day team operations, including the hiring and retaining of coaches, game-day staff and volunteers, and the recruiting of players. She also coordinated team scheduling and was in charge of marketing.
Prior to that, she was the marketing director for The Hockey Academy, where she oversaw all public relations and marking matters.
Patronick graduated from UMass Lowell in 2009 with a bachelor's in English. She completed her master's in sports management at Southern New Hampshire in 2013.
