BRONX, N.Y. – Dartmouth volleyball had another 1-1 day at the Battle of the Big Apple, defeating St. Francis (Brooklyn), 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-19) before falling to host Fordham (25-27, 21-25, 25-20, 20-25). The Big Green are now 4-6 overall this season.
Â
Head coach
Gilad Doron picked up his 200th career win following the St. Francis victory.
"We finished four matches in 26 hours, which was a challenge, both mentally and physically," Doron said. "We will have to learn and improve before our opening weekend versus Harvard on Friday. With our young group, we still have to find our identity, but we sure will fight until the end. We have lots to look forward to."
