Dartmouth athletes continue to work hard toward the goal of winning a league championship. Women's hockey got a win this weekend against Brown thanks to timely scoring and assists from junior Christina Rombaut. On the ski slope, sophomore Drew Duffy won his fourth gold medal this season, winning the giant slalom at the Vermont Carnival, leading the team to a second place finish overall.Â
Their efforts are rewarded by being named the DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week.

Drew Duffy, So., Waitsfield, Vt., Men's Alpine Skiing
Drew Duffy has had a stellar start to his collegiate career, and this past weekend the sophomore won gold in the giant slalom at the Vermont Carnival, beating out a Catamount skier by 0.09 seconds. It was his fourth victory in just six races this winter, having swept the GS and slalom in his first carnival at St. Lawrence before winning the GS at New Hampshire two weeks ago and finishing third in the slalom, giving him five podiums this season. Duffy is competing in the FIS Nor-Am Cup this week, along with several of his teammates, at the Sun Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.

Christina Rombaut opened scoring just 25 seconds into the first period against Brown. She followed that up with assists on the fourth and fifth goals, pacing the way for the Big Green to defeat the Bears by a score of 5-2.
