Their efforts are rewarded by being named the DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
Tanguy Nef, Jr., Geneva, Switzerland, Men's Alpine Skiing
Junior Tanguy Nef added another NCAA title to his collection by winning the giant slalom at the NCAA Skiing Championships in Stowe, Vermont. The Swiss native posted the best time on his first of two runs in the event, then matched the feat on his second attempt to win the event by 1.25 seconds. He is the first Dartmouth skier to win the slalom (2018) and the giant slalom, and the first Big Green skier in over 60 years to win two different alpine events during his career.

Katharine Ogden, So., Garibaldi, British Columbia, Women's Nordic Skiing
Katharine Ogden won her third NCAA title in two years with another dominating performance at the NCAA Skiing Championships held in Stowe, Vermont. The sophomore led nearly wire-to-wire in the 15K classic race, pulling away about halfway through the course and handily winning by more than 23 seconds. She is the first Dartmouth skier in 56 years to own at least three NCAA crowns. Earlier in the championships, she finished fourth in the 5K freestyle, earning All-America First Team honors for that race as well.
