HANOVER, N.H. –
Mia Leko, a freshman on the Dartmouth women's swimming and diving team, will compete in the 2019 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championship.
Â
The event will take place from March 14-16 at Busbey Natatorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
Â
Individuals and relays can qualify for the championship by winning their respective event(s) at a collegiate conference championship. In addition, any individual or relay who equals or surpasses the CSCAA 'A' standard shall be eligible.
Â
Swimmers who qualify for the meet via conference championship title or time standard may also enter individual events if they achieved a 'B' standard.
Â
Leko will compete in four individual events during her time in Ohio: the 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 free and 500 free. Her highest seeding is in the 200 fly (third), the event she won at the Ivy League Championship last month. She is also seeded in the top 20 in the 200 and 500 free.
Â
The Big Green rookie will kick things off on Thursday with the 500 free. The 100 fly and 200 free will take place on Friday, and the 200 fly will be on Saturday.
