Academic All-Ivy Winter Team Announced

Ten Big Green student-athletes have been honored by the conference office
HANOVER, N.H. —Ten Dartmouth student-athletes were selected for the Academic All-Ivy League Winter Team as announced by the conference office.
To qualify for a spot on the league's top academic team, these student-athletes have made major contributions to their teams while maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average. The Big Green's 10 honorees are listed below in alphabetical order.

- 3.65 GPA
- Earned points and swam season-best times at Ivy Championships in the 100 and 200 free
- Helped the 800 free relay team place fourth
- Finished sixth in the 400 free relay.
Skiing / Montreal, Quebec / Government
- 3.66 GPA
- Three-time All-American
- Won three races this winter with six podium finishes
- Reached 18 podiums in her career with seven victories in carnival races.
Skiing /Â Simsbury, Conn. /Â Economics
- 3.37 GPA
- All-America first-team in the giant slalom by finishing third at NCAA Championship
- Won Eastern Regional GS as well
- Team finished fourth at 2019 NCAA Championship.
Men's Basketball /Â Hamilton, Mass. /Â Economics,
- 3.96 GPA
- Academic All-America second team
- Finished third on the team with 10.8 points per game and second with 2.4 assists per game
- Scored a career-high 25 points against Brown.
Men's Squash /Â Wyndmoor, Pa. /Â Government
- 3.76 GPA
- Played at No. 2 all season
- Finished with a 10-7 record
- Won the Malloy East Division individual finals.
Men's Hockey /Â Broomfield, Colo. / Engineering
- 3.70 GPA
- Third on the team in points (25) and goals (10)
- Tied for team lead with 15 assists
- Dartmouth nominee for ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year.
Men's Swimming & Diving / Little Silver, N.J. / Economics
- 3.54 GPA
- Earned points at Ivy Championships in the 50 and 200 free
- Swam in the 200, 400 and 800 free relays
- Earned team's Paul E. Tsongas Most Improved Award.
Women's Basketball / Bronx, N.Y. / Linguistics
- 3.55 GPA
- Finished second on the team with 10.9 points per game
- Finished third in the Ivy League with 4.3 assists per game
- Hit career-high seven three-pointers against UMass Lowell.

- Posted a 12-3 record at Nos. 8 and 9
- Won five conference matches
- Helped Dartmouth to wins over Amherst and Brown in the women's championships.
